Finally with Amita's influence on my side, I was able to convince the ever modest Jayant (Or as I call him Jayant Dada). He agreed to tell me his story which turned out to be fun and all the more inspirational. I will try to put it here in the best possible form with Jayant's permission.
Jayant Dada's both parents being goans made Jayant as well Goan by heart. He was born in Margao, a small town in south Goa on 12th September 1968. His father had to shift to Pune to make a living a few years later, which started a different chapter in Jayant dada's life. The whole family shifted to a small rented place at Laxmi road, Pune where Jayant Dada has lived most of his life.
Jayant dada was well behaved to the extent that we can call it so. He did all the things that generally all children do while his father was not around. He was a celebrity in his "Wada" and was loved by one and all in the society. He was brilliant in studies and together with his lovable behavior, he could easily get whatever he wanted and that too from punekars. This in itself was an achievement of sorts.
As a child he never dominated or dictated anyone due to which he had many true friends. While maths was a dreaded monster for most of the students, Jayant dada was like a magician playing different tricks with maths and accounts.
He finished his studies until SSC and took admissions for 11th Commerce.
Stay tuned for more....as Jayant Dada is about to enter college which is when is converted the most sad part of his life into the most important part of his life.
